The Perfect Cheer

With the Celtics currently trailing the Hawks 36-28, starting yet another game sluggish I figured it's time for the perfect cheer. Last year the C's championship run began when one Mr. Mark Schneider (yes my father) decided to write some pre-game poetry. Let's re-live this gem of a poem that my dad wrote prior to Game 4 of the NBA Finals:

"THE CELTICS ARE MAKING NO APOLOGY
AS THEY CONTINUE TO NAVIGATE THIS HARDWOOD TOPOGRAPHY
TONIGHT THE CELTICS WILL SHOW MORE HEART
WHILE THE LAKERS ARE MAKING A BIG FART
SO CELTIC FANS NEED NOT WORRY
FOR TONIGHT'S GAME WILL BE A HAPPY STORY
AND WITH ANOTHER WIN ON SUNDAY
WE ALL WILL BE HAPPY ON MONDAY"

As my dad would say "Bleed Green!"

Your old man is a regular Robert Frost. I like his rhymage of the words heart and fart. Does he do haikus?

I knew you'd appreciate his pre-game poems...I'm convinced that's why the C's won it all.
